Wet hair and scalp thoroughly with warm water. Dispense enough to lather through the scalp, more for longer or thicker hair. Work it into the scalp with circular motions. Rinse, and repeat if you want a second wash.

Follow with the Sage + Multivitamin Replenishing Conditioner.
Scent and Texture
  • Texture: A gel that lathers into a dense white foam. Sodium cocoyl isethionate and lauramidopropyl betaine build that foam without sulfates.
  • Feel after the rinse: Polyquaternium-7 and -10 stay on the fiber, so the lengths part and comb through wet.
  • Scent: Woody and musky. The label declares hexamethylindanopyran, a musk, and tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a woody amber.
