Treat Hair Loss at the Root
Shedding is a follicle problem. Treating lengths cannot change what the root does.
Why Hair Falls
Most shedding traces to the follicle, not the fiber you can see. Three drivers dominate: oxidative stress at the scalp, weak follicle anchoring, and a shortened growth phase. Each needs a different active. One ingredient rarely covers all three.
What Has Evidence
Rosemary leaf extract carries phenolic antioxidants that improve the scalp environment linked with thinning. Biotinoyl tripeptide-1 signals at the follicle to support anchoring and anagen density. In a 100-person trial of pattern hair loss, rosemary matched 2% minoxidil on hair count. That was at six months. It did not beat the drug. It matched it, with less scalp itching.
How to Treat It
Work shampoo at the scalp to clarify buildup so actives reach the follicle. Apply serum along part lines and massage 60 to 90 seconds. Condition mid-lengths to ends to reduce breakage that reads as loss.
